The Pension Wise website puts small files (known as ‘cookies’) onto your computer to collect information about how you browse the website.

How we use cookies
Measuring website usage (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics software to collect information about how you use our website. We do this to help make sure the website is meeting the needs of its users and to help us make improvements. Google Analytics stores information about:
- the pages you visit on the Pension Wise website
- how long you spend on each page
- how you got to the website
- what you click on while you’re visiting the website
We don’t collect or store your personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information can’t be used to identify who you are.
We don’t allow Google to use or share our analytics data.
Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

Our performance surveys
We select some users to take part in performance surveys. If you take part, or dismiss a survey, we’ll save a cookie that lets us know you’ve seen the message so that we don’t show it to you again.

We use UserZoom to collect responses to a survey. If you take part, UserZoom will save extra cookies to your computer to track your progress through it.
Our introductory message
You may see a pop-up welcome message when you first visit the Pension Wise website. We’ll store a cookie so that your computer knows you’ve seen it and knows not to show it again.

Security restrictions
Pension Wise uses a content delivery network (CDN). Our CDN applies a cookie to users’ devices so that we can identify non-human visitors to our website, such as bots and crawlers. Non-human visitors will have security restrictions applied.
